cycling event, Cycle Wiltshire on 3-4 May 2014 in Wiltshire. The weekend is a not to be missed event for cyclists!
First on the Saturday come and ride the Salisbury Sportive with routes of 100 miles, 65 miles and 20 miles through the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. All the routes will be supported by great feed stations, mobile bike mechanic support, chip timing and first aid support. Other elements include access to changing facilities and toilets and post race showers along with a great event village to sit in the sun (hopefully!) and enjoying well earned bowl of pasta and/or cake as well as enjoying a post ride massage. Rides start from Five Rivers Leisure Centre from 8.30am.
Then on the Sunday it’s time to watch the pros in action in the British Cycling National Road Race series elite race start/finish in Wilton. This 100 mile race will include all the major professional British teams and is your chance to see pro racing up close and personal! The race starts at 11am, with team introductions prior to this, and due to finish at 3pm. The race route will pass through Wilton 10 times and include the challenging climb up Fovant Hill!
